Our Firm
History of the
Firm
Originated in 1992 by Mary Elizabeth Duff, M.E. Duff &
Associates, LP began as a one-person Firm, providing civil,
personal and business legal services in Richmond. Today, the
Firm includes an associate and a paralegal to provide a complete
team helping with the legal needs of individuals, families and
businesses throughout their lives.
Our client roster reflects the faces and businesses of Fort Bend
County. We work with individuals and all types of businesses. We
also assist Municipal Utility Districts throughout Harris and
Fort Bend Counties with collection matters.

M. Elizabeth Duff Drozd
Elizabeth has built her business by her active participation in
the local community. She has assisted hundreds of clients
through the years with Business, Corporate, Contract, Wills,
Probate, Guardianship, Family and Adoption as well as many other
matters in Fort Bend and Surrounding Counties. Elizabeth has
been a resident of Fort Bend County since 1974, she and her
husband Carl who is recently retired from the United States Army
currently reside in Richmond.
Elizabeth has conducted and participated in numerous Civil and
Family Mediations as she believes that Alternative Dispute
Resolution is an integral part of the litigation system. She
also volunteers her time as a mediator through the Fort Bend
County Dispute Resolution Center as well.

Matt was a lifetime resident of Fort Bend County until he
recently moved to Houston with his wife, Jennifer. In his short
time in practice, Matt has assisted clients in a broad range of
areas, including Adoption, Divorce, Collections, and Statutory
Compliance. Matt has a firm belief in resolving disputes
amicably, and without the need for trial, whenever possible.
